Please remember, this is an outdoor event in Scottish winter, so please wrap up warm and wear sensible footwear!
Everyone’s safety is paramount, therefore we have decided to introduce a NO GLASS policy for 2025. The bar will be serving drinks in plastic cups and the Fountain bar will also be using plastic cups after 9pm.
If you purchase alcohol at the event, you must consume it before you leave.
The fireworks at midnight will be loud and the display will last around 5 – 6 minutes. Parents of small children may want to bring ear protection for them.
Atholl Security will be on hand for any problems. The Hogmanay festival is a great event with a welcoming family atmosphere. Any behaviour deemed inappropriate will be dealt with swiftly and troublemakers will be escorted from the square.
Toilets will be provided and situated on the west side of the Square.
The bar will be situated on the east side of the square.
Piece Sandwich shop will be open throughout the event and will be selling hot food and beverages. The shop is situated just outside the square in the southwest corner.
If the central area of the square becomes over-congested, we may temporarily pause entry to the square.
All the security staff are first aid trained. If you require first aid please attract the attention of a member of the security team.
Please help to keep the event area tidy! There will be bins at several locations around the site, please use them!
